RA-CS1

RA-CS1 is a full-featured stereo channel strip built for modern production. Four processing stages: Expander, Parametric EQ, Compressor, and Drive working together in a fixed signal chain designed to efficiently polish a wide variety of audio tracks. It can handle gain staging with its input gain and polarity inverter, manage your presets across your projects and implements 2x oversampling to avoid EQ cramping and aliasing from saturation.

Expander

A downward expander at the front of the chain cleans up noise and bleed before any other processing affects the signal. Threshold, Ratio, Knee, Attack and Release give you enough control to be surgical or transparent, depending on the source.

8-Band Parametric EQ

Eight fully parametric bands cover everything from high-pass filtering to surgical cuts and broad shelving. They can be set and modified by interacting with their nodes on the frequency spectrum chart. Each band can be solo-ed or muted independently. High-pass and low-pass filters offer variable slope up to 48 dB/oct.

Compressor

The compressor sits after the EQ so it is shaping dynamics of a spectrally balanced signal. It is based on a VCA architecture which is feed-forward by design. It is Stereo linked and controllable from familiar parameters like Threshold, Ratio, Knee, Attack and Release. Gain reduction is displayed in real time.

Drive & Saturation

A drive stage at the end of the chain adds harmonic colour after the dynamics are settled. Multiple saturation modes let you dial in anything from subtle warmth to more aggressive character.
